Picture review and build of Tamiya’s 1/35 SAS Land Rover “Pink Panther”, aka “Pinkie”, kit reference 35076. Starting with the contents of the box and a the Eduard aftermarket detailing photo-etch, the kit is build and painted.
Once the black primer was on I painted areas silver and masked these with blobs of liquid mask, so once painted in the pink the liquid mask could be removed to show aluminium affect paint chips..
Once complete the model was weathered primarily using Flory Washes, and a small display stand was made to show it off.
Overall a great build, and I was definitely recommend the additional investment in the Eduard set. It increased the time it took for the build, the the results of the extra detail make it an essential for this model.
