An unboxing and review of Airfix’s Vampire T.11/J28-C jet trainer, 1/72 scale model kit, ref: A02058A.
The kit has three main sprues, plus a small sprue with clear parts. The moulding is crisp with recessed panel lines and a good amount of detail. There is a large decal sheet print well with strong vibrant colours, and colour painting guide (two schemes).
The instructions are a single sheet, clear and concise – though there is a little confusion with landing gear which appear to need fitting before the gear up or down option is selected! Only a very minor point.
There is not immediate signs of flash or ejector pins that would affect the build, and the clear parts appear clear and without distortion (for the scale).
