An unboxing and review of Tamiya’s Schwimmwagen (swimming car) Type 166, 1/35 scale model kit, ref: 35225.
The kit has two main sprues, plus the chassis/hull, gauze, clear part and decal sheet.
The instructions are clear, and offers three different options for painting and decals.
The sprues have little flash and the detail is crisp and clear. The option for showing the engine and posing the outboard motor will give plenty of options for the modeller who wishes to have the model in a diorama.
